Dear Readers,

Thank you for the support though my blog has been stagnant for quite some time. Din expect people to still read and comment on my blog post. I thought it would be good for me to update you guys a little.

I'm currently working full-time at FotoHub.com as their Marketing Exec. Most of you had heard about us, most of you find this name familiar or you probably don't know what the hell is FotoHub.

It's kind of fated for me to get to know this job as I was browsing through JobStreet.com. It's very random as I was studying half-way for my final paper and got bored. I thought it would be a good time for me to look for a new job as i'm graduating soon. Had went interview twice for the position "Marketing Exec" for two different company, but don't feel comfortable with it. And then I overcome FotoHub.com.....

The requirement states:
- Degree in Marketing would be an advantage. (Tio)

- Strong communication skills and customer focus (Thinking that I've been working as a PR for almost 2 years.. should be Tio.)

Omg, aren't they asking me to go apply?! It just sounds like i'm the person they are looking for. So I went to apply immediately. True enough, I got a call few days later for interview.

The interview was good, and I like "my" manager at first sight. She looks friendly and very patient and kind throughout the interview. She asked if I know what FotoHub is doing... i'm like O.M.G. I should have done my research...... The first answer that comes out from my mouth is "Printing of photographs." Im so ashamed of myself, and then I saw behind my manager there's a big poster stating:

"FOTOHUB SERVICES:
- FotoMug
- FotoPuzzle
- FotoJournal
- FotoStory
... etc"

Immediately I burp out some of the services that is visible to me.. But not quite sure what is it about. My manager must have seen through me, and explained to me what is it they really doing. She said she would call me if i'm being selected for the job post. Hais, wan dan le.

I felt really disappointed with myself, I should have done my research before coming to this interview. I really like this job SO MUCH!

To my surprise, my manager called me few days later!! I was overjoyed! WHEEEE~~ I remember dancing around with my phone and my friends have to chill me down as my manager is still on the line. I can't wait to start work immediately!

Till date, I've been working with FotoHub for almost 6 months, and i'm still enjoying every single part of my job. It's really an eye-opening job for me and i'm thankful for my manager which has been very patient and nice to me. She had taught me SO MANY stuff, guide me so well, that sometimes I would feel p/s if I din do a good job.

Introducing some of the items that I really really like from FotoHub:

1) FotoJournal / FotoStory
It's a new generation of photo albums where your beloved memories is being printed into an album. It can be fully customized, which you will decide how your album to be like (e.g. add text, add caption, lay photos). It is printed on FotoSilk paper, which only FotoHub has it. Some of you may know, most photo albums is printed on A4 papers with lamination or Magazine Papers with lamination, but our albums are all printed on Photo Papers, especially FotoSilk paper which we highly recommend, is spilled and scratched proof. I really really love their albums that I've printed almost 10 albums for myself and friends and all of us are loving it!!

2) FotoCanvas
I must say our canvas is really good and the one printing our canvas is so skillful and professional! Has been printing some of my albums with canvas cover and I loved it so much! You may also wish to print canvas to be hung on the wall without have to worry it may spoil your wall. Our canvas is so light! I had ordered one canvas from Groupon previously, and it turns out to be a chopping board with canvas effects on my photo. What's worst, they stretched my photo!! WTH.. I bet you don't want to pay for such lousy goods.....

3) Image Restoration
It's a service where we touch up your old photos to make it look as though it's new. I'm totally impressed by it.

Legoland Malaysia!

Pssssst sorry for the long wait.

Went on a 2D1N trip to Legoland Malaysia and Hello Kitty Town with WTS Travel. It's like a work trip (+ some fun) for me and the same time have fun with friends. There's several departure time to legoland everyday, it's like a public bus where people heading to the same destination will board, and the bus will leave when it's full and then the next bus will come to pick. But of course, you have to buy the tix from WTS travel.

Met my friends at Singapore Flyers, the one and only pick-up point if you are heading to Legoland. Initially i wonder why they put it at such a ulu location, but then it's really quite fast to reach Tuas from there. We left SG around 9am+, and managed to reach Legoland around 11am +. The bus actually stops at Hello Kitty Town first before heading to Legoland, that's explain why it took about 2hr for us to reach.

I got warned by other friends we went Legoland to be fully equipped with anti-sun equipments. Thanks for their kind advice, it was really super hot! Call me kiasu or what, i actually spammed sun block every hour and held my anti-UV umbrella with me wherever i go. It's super super hot as there as there is no shelter. Their open concept is too open, too hot..

Am quite reluctant to visit the famous MiniLand because it was so hot... nevertheless, i conquered it with the protection of double sunblock, umbrella and shades.. too hot :(

To be honest, i am amazed by what a lego can do. Everything was so realistically done. Though it's hot but did not regret this eye opening tour around the MiniLand. There's many many more, but din get to snap all as it is too exhausting to walk under the hot sun for long. And i forgot to take a picture with the malaysia twin tower...... :(

 Though it's hot, but i had a bunch of really fun friends with me which makes the weather bearable automatically. All the laughter and fun had made us forget how unbearable the weather is. So my advise is to spam sun block and hold your umbrella!! Don't laugh, cause most of them got burnt after 5 hours of tour. It's really hot, don't say that i didn't warn you....

There is also locker service, which you got an option to choose between hourly rental or full day rental. It's RM20 for a full day rental and you can choose to reopen it anytime. It's so huge that it is able to hold all our bags/baggage (6 of us).

Operating hour is from 10am to 6pm, and the admission ticket is from RM140 and up!! Save RM28 if you buy your tix 7 days in advance!

It's a yearly affair with the girls. Usual practice would be during CNY, however we were all busy with work now, it's hard to accommodate to everyone's schedule. So, finally we meet up after postponing it for serveral times.. hais

Went to White Sands and did grocery shopping. It was funny as Zoe and I were busy picking the vegetables instead of meat.. Our trolley is filled with greens! HAHA!

It was funny as Jing needs to leave early for her driving lesson. So being her friends of 11 years, we actually stayed back to eat while she left for her driving. We clean up for her, when it's done, we rested in her living room and watched tv together. We are acting as though it's our house HAHA! We even helped her to lock the door when we left. That's how much she trust us with her house.

Nevertheless, i hope our friendship stays and be this happy, or happier always.
