Genting get-away with Laura

We really need a get away so badly, SO SO badly that we left to Genting right after our last paper last May. Really quite reluctant to do a blog post on this, because you know, i'm looking awful in all the photos. I mean, who dressed up and put make up to Genting???

*Ahem*
Okay, we got up really early and meet at Golden Mile at 6am. I'm so hungry already, so settled my stomach with a big pack of nasi lemak.

and now you know what i mean.. Don't think anyone bother to look at me right? 

Took 5 star tour and got the bottom level seats. Seriously, it's much more comfortable comparing to the seats at upper level. Only 4 pax to be seated at the bottom level, peaceful and not so bumpy.

see, i can sleep like this and no one complains. My seats today like sofa bed instantly.

Few hours drive to Yong Peng station and i'm hungry again.

Reached Genting around 10am, first time i see Genting so empty. Doesn't have to wait long to check in. Old town to have lunch right after check in :D

 It's like a norm that each time i visit Genting, i'll definitely have to dine at Old Town, so whenever i post a picture of old town picture on instagram, my cousin will ask "You're at Genting again?!"

Getting ready.

It's our 2nd day at Genting. See our room, pathetic small right. Me and Laura paid like $180 each for 3d2n lor.

Wanted to go out for some fun, but see! So misty!!! Freezing cold too!

Went karaoke to entertain ourselves. Not cheap okay, RM60 per room, 2 hours. 

Other than casino, themepark, the next IN thing you must do in Genting is to play bowling! Before we start the game, laura said this to me "忘了跟你说，La 姐我很会打 bowling!" (forgot to tell me, La jie is very good at bowling!) I'm like "Whoaa.... you serious?" I add "真巧，我也很厉害!" (what a coincident, i'm not bad either!)

Despite wearing stocking, i still put on a socks cause I'm a very hygiene person. Mmm.

As usual, my nails broke after the game. *cry I really love bowling ALOT ALOT but i love my nails even more! Do you know how much i spent on nail services every month???? Better not know.

 First world hotel.

Walked all the way to *forgot which hotel* for buffet dinner at Coffee Terrace. They serve really nice buffet ranging from chinese cuisine, western, japanese, nonya ... indian cuisine. Quite abit right.

After dinner, we went to casino. I did win abit here and there. Won almost RM700 on slot machine, RM200+ on baccarat, RM300+ on roulette. The feeling of winning is so exciting and that's why i lost all back to Casino De Genting. I won RM300+ in the end. Wanted to visit Safari, but it closes at 1am. Which club closes at 1am? So weird!

Settled some drinks at Cloud9, admiring the voices of the MAMA GIRLZ. Lol.

I think because of the top i'm wearing (peter-pan collar), no guy offer to buy me drinks. :( Whereas, Laura has been giving a grumpy face throughout the drinking session, quite a few guys actually wanna to buy her some drinks! Oh man, what's wrong with the guys?! HAHA! Thanks to her, i got some free shots to end my day.

I'm feeling so tired after all the alcohol. I knocked off straight after my body touched the bed. Poor Laura was down with flu, she din had a good rest for that 2 night stay.

Quite a pleasant stay (excluding the hotel room part), I was so tired that i slept throughout our way back to Singapore on the 3rd day. I went down the bus to buy tea egg (RM1.50 only!) when it stops at one of the mid point where we can buy their local product. When i'm done buying, i couldn't find my bus!!! I got panicked and start looking around for my bus number. And then i remember, Laura is sleeping in the bus! I quickly dialed her number and talk to her using this almost-cried-out tone "La jie... i can't find our bus...." Actually the bus was just infront of me, just that i missed it. Tsk.

Nice experience traveling with Laura, she's my closest friend in SMa. Know her since day 1 of my bridging class. Always bullying me yet dote me the most HAHA! I miss her already, can't wait to see her soon!
