Hello Malacca! (Part 1)

It's a planned family drive trip to Malacca! My aunts, uncle, cousins and grandma will be meeting us there too. Getting all excited for this trip!

Halfway through the trip, i had a serious gastric cramp which is quite unusual cause i had bee hoon for breakfast. No choice but to sleep my way to malacca :/ and i have a weird habit of snacking when im up from nap. 

So we spent almost 3 hours to reach malacca and locate our hotel. We stayed at Prima Hotel, not really centralised but walking distant to most of the attractions. Though the exterior not very appealing, but the room is damn big lahhhh!!

We rested awhile and had our sight seeing together. The weather is killing. :x

Was mad hungry when we reached malacca. Settled down at one chicken rice restaurant which no queue. There's quite afew chicken rice cafe/restaurant over at there and most of them had long queues. We were all too hungry to queue! However my overall verdict for this chicken rice is :P don't try, especially the rice ball. Bleah.

You can find souvenirs, good food and lots of other stuff at jonker street. it gets more joyful at night where the road is block for all the push cart owners to do business. What i like most there is the FOOD!!! A and I has been eating non stop from the start of the street to the end of the street!! Damn good luhh!!

HATCHED!

Went to HATCHED to celebrate my dear Kahmun's hatched day with some close friends. We was amazed but the atmosphere and how relaxed the place is. Indeed a very good choice to hang out with friends after a hectic work day.

I made a reservation before hand, so we are arranged to sit at the top level. I could say it's more cosy upstairs. 

Everything at Hatched was extraordinary cute and artistic. Even the menu. We are so fascinated by the salt and pepper thingy as it was in egg shaped too! Too cute! Just making me wanna keep adding salt and pepper to my dish. Hee hee.

As it was our first time there, we would want to order different different kinds of egg to try. It's hard to decide which kind of eggs to choice cause all sounds delicious! Wouldn't dare to try too much eggs due to cholesterol too LOL. So we settled with... 

 Sausage platter.

Smoked Royale. English muffins topped with smoked salmon and poached eggs!

Salivate to see all the delicious food placing infront of us. Couldn't wait to finish all up as we were too hungry!

Though it was a good experience with eggs, however the portion is really too small to fill our hungry stomach. haha. Nevertheless, i hope our dear Kahmun had a great night with us :D 

Farewell brunch: Rider's Cafe

Thank god it's a breezy Tuesday that we decided to have brunch at a relaxing place called Rider's Cafe.  It was our first time there, I would say it's really peace to eat and chill there (less the horse smell). Went to do some research on the place and i thought it might be a good idea to change a new environment to dine.

But sad to say, there's nothing much to choose from the menu. I thought i saw some awesome food stuff from their web..... :( Neh mind. Since he's treating, then i'm going to order the most expensive food item in the menu!

My steak look not bad right, but it taste quite bad actually. Now i miss the steak from Ship Restaurant! Arghhhh.

Oh yah, time to introduce my rich friend.

Adrian Lau.

He had left Singapore to France to work for a period of 2 years! Like wtf, freaking 2 years. Damn know how to enjoy life to the max.

Adrian is a very nice friend that i'm glad to have him around for the past few years. Come to think of it, i forgot to wish him bon voyage on the date he jet off.

Before we leave the place, he drove to park his car beside mine and open the back seat door of his car. At one moment, i thought he's giving me present siol.. but nope. It's a Hello Kitty polaroid camera which i strongly believe it belongs to his girlfriend. He said "Let's take a picture together."
